Mechanical and electrical design for two 14,000 sf medical office buildings

Renovated and upgraded existing space to accommodate relocated County functions, equipment, and personnel
CEP designed to meet current cooling needs and be readily expandable for a future 175,000 sf building (designed but not constructed, due to budget constraints)
Renovation scope: demolition of existing partitions, spatial renovations, and infrastructure upgrades (HVAC, electrical power, lighting, data, security, and life safety)

Mechanical & electrical design for a 1.4 million sf, two-level regional shopping and entertainment center west of Miami
Tenant mix: value-oriented anchors and majors, satellite stores, a large entertainment component, and common areas
Entertainment component: multi-screen cinema, food court, variety of restaurants, family entertainment, and indoor/outdoor amusements
Systems: smoke management, emergency power, life safety/fire alarm, facilities automation, and security
Coordinated facility infrastructure, site and in-line lighting, and shell/white-box design to match the unique architectural and thematic elements

Engineering design to upgrade the emergency power generation system
Added two 1,500 kW, 13.8 kV generators in separate hurricane-resistant enclosures, running on JP-5 fuel
Switchgear to control and distribute power to numerous buildings, the fire pump station, the microwave tower, and the chiller equipment
Each generator mounted on a double-walled fuel tank, at least 9 ft above mean sea level
